This book constitutes the proceedings of the First International Workshop on Biometric Authentication, BIOMET 2014, which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, in June 2014. The 16 full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 21 submissions. Additionally, this volume also contains 5 invited papers.
