Tidball has taken the additional poems from the posthumous edition of Les Fleurs du Mal and assigned them new positions within the collection as a whole. The original French texts appear on the left-hand page, with the new English verse translations on the facing page. The translations preserve the rhyme scheme, versification and intrinsic sense of each individual poem.
