Attribute Grammars, Applications and Systems: International Summer School SAGA, Prague, Czechoslovakia, June 4-13, 1991. Proceedings: Lecture Notes in Computer Science, cartea 545

Editat de Henk Alblas, Borivoj Melichar
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 23 oct 1991
Attribute grammars have shown themselves to be a usefulformalism for specifying the syntax and the static semanticsof programming languages. They are also useful forimplementing syntax-directed editors, compilers, translatorwriting systems and compiler generators, and any applicationthat has a strong syntactic base. However, no textbooks areavailable that cover the entire field. To redress this imbalance, anInternational Summer School onAttribute Grammars, Applications and Systems was held inPrague, Czechoslovakia in June 1991. The course aimed atteaching the state of the art in attribute grammars, andtheir relation to other language specification methods. Thisvolume presents the proceedings of the school. The papersare well suited for self-study, and a selection of them canbe used for introductory courses in attribute grammars.
