[The book has] extensive but not daunting information under headings such as Historical and Social Context, Genres and Themes and Performance History, among other aspects. It's clearly and accessibly written.

Descriere

Descriere de la o altă ediție sau format:
Based on historical people and real events, Miller's play uses the destructive power of socially sanctioned violence unleashed by the rumors of witchcraft as a powerful parable about McCarthyism.
