Thomas More Hoban, a New Hampshire attorney, also serves as environmental consultant to several major manufacturing corporations. Richard Oliver Brooks was founding director of the Environmental Law centre and is professor of law at the Vermont Law School. This book explores the interrelationship between the legal system and the environment, using key environmental law cases. It makes the point that the field that we identify as environmental law is only tangentially related to the scientific studies of the environment.
