Notă biografică

Daniel-I. Stroe received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in automatics from “Transilvania" University of Brasov, Romania, in 2008, and M.Sc. degree in wind power systems from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2010. He has been with the  Department of Energy at Aalborg University (AAU-Energy) since 2010, from where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in lifetime modeling of Lithium-ion batteries in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor with AAU Energy and the leader of the Batteries research group. He was a Visiting Researcher with RWTH Aachen, Germany, in 2013, and since 2022, he has been a visiting professor at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czechia. He has co-authored over 200 scientific peer-reviewed publications, most of them on topics related to Lithium-ion battery performance and lifetime modeling and battery state estimation. Furthermore, he is serving as a special issue editor and topic editor for various journals. Daniel’s current research interests are in energy storage systems for grid and e-mobility, Lithium-based batteries testing and modeling, and lifetime estimation and diagnostics of Lithium-ion batteries.
    
Dr. Nasimuddin (M’2003-SM’2009) received his B.Sc. degree in 1994 from Jamia Millia Islamia, India, and his M.Tech. (Microwave Electronics) and Ph.D. degrees in 1998 and 2004, respectively, from the University of Delhi, India. Dr. Nasimuddin has worked as a Senior Research Fellow (1999-2003) in DST sponsored project and CSIR grant as a senior Research Fellow in Engineering Science at the Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi, India. He has worked as an Australian Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2004-2006) in awarded a Discovery project grant from the Australian Research Council at Macquarie University, Australia. Currently, he is working as a principal scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR, Singapore. He has published 235 journal and conference technical papers on microstrip-based microwave antennas and components. Three US/SG patents have been granted and four filed on antenna technologies. He has edited two books and contributed a chapter to the book “Microstrip Antennas” published in 2011. He has ranked in the top 2% of World Scientists in 2023 for career-long impact and single-year impact.
Dr. Nasimuddin is a Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. He was awarded a Senior Research Fellowship from the CSIR, India in Engineering Science (2001-2003); a Discovery Projects Fellowship from the Australian Research Council (2004-2006); Singapore Manufacturing Federation Award (with project team) in 2014, the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in 2005, and Exceptional Performance Reviewer Award Certificates from the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society in 2019, 2022, and 2023.He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation, International Journal of Antennas and Propagation, and various antennas/microwave/RF related journal’s editorial board member. He has been a member of organizing committees of several Antenna and Propagation including IEEE APS 2021-related conferences, serving as Publication Chair/Publicity Chair/Conference Secretary. He was the Chair of the IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Joint Chapter (2021-2022).
    
     
Dr. S. H. Laskar was born in Nitainagar (Hailakandi), Assam (India) in 1962. He attended Irfan Ali Memorial H. S. School, Nitainagar and Public H.S. School, Hailakandi. He did Pre-university from Cotton College, Guwahati (1977-79) and Engineering courses from graduate upto research from Z.H. College of Engg & Tech, AMU, Aligarh. He joined teaching as lecturer in Electrical Engg Department, REC (presently NIT), Silchar on 1991 and now working as Professor in the Electronics & Instrumentation Engg Department, NIT Silchar. In addition to life member of ISTE (India), he is in the elite group of elected IEEE Senior Members and a member of IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society. He is also a life member of the Instrument Society of India. He reviewed a good number of papers in some international Journals and conferences. He has been working in the domain of instrumentation including measurements and sensing.
    
Dr. Shivendra Kumar Pandey graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RGPV Bhopal, India. He received Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Indore, India in Jan 2018. He received International Travel Grant from SERB-DST, Govt. of India. Since Jun 2018, he has been working as Assistant Professor of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, India. He has published research articles in Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Applied Physics, Review of Scientific Instruments, Physica Status Solidi-Rapid Research Letters etc. His current research interests include Emerging memory technologies (PCM, RRAM), Nanoelectronics, Electronic Devices and Sensors. He obtained Early Career Research Award from Science and Education Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. He is Principal Investigator of Nano-electronics & Emerging Memory (NEEM) Research Laboratory at NIT Silchar, Assam, India.
