Laura has been called a "National Treasure" as she is one of the few Rosie the Riveters still living at the time of this publication. In the back of this cookbook is a section all about her time as a Rosie, working on Liberty Ships in Jacksonville, FL. In this section, Laura shares with us photos, actual pay stubs and so much more. Like the woman herself, this cookbook is an experience and treasure unto itself.
