Recenzii
"Essential" -- C. B. Kerr, Vassar College, Choice
"In this revealing, well researched study, Kershaw does much to correct the vision of Nemirovsky as a one-work literary phenomenon. Kershaw's in-depth study allows one to appreciate Nemirovsky's exception life and work, before Auschwitz" - Choice
"Kershaw's in-depth study allows one to appreciate Némirovsky's exceptional life and work, before Auschwitz. Essential."-- C. B. Kerr, Vassar College, Choice

Descriere
Kershaw analyses Irene Némirovsky’s literary production in its relationship to the literary and cultural context of the inter-war period in France, exploring the cultural exchange between France and Russia and the political implications of Némirovsky’s fiction--particularly the enthusiastic reception of her work in far-right anti-Semitic journals.
