Seven runaway children. An explosive kill switch in their DNA. The countdown has begun.
When the government raids an illegal cloning lab on a forgotten Pacific island, Eight and his genetically engineered siblings are released by their maker into the wild. But as they navigate the real world for the first time, their evolving powers run amok, causing their sister Three's psyche to be fractured and assume the identity of a 13th-century Spanish queen.
Close on their heels is Lt. Col. Nathan Pike and Squad Q, an elite team of soldier-scientists and psychics. Inside the abandoned facility, Pike's unit discovers two horrifying secrets: a room belonging to the missing subject "One" that was incinerated and boarded up, and even more deadly, a biological failsafe baked into the children's DNA, coded to detonate under severe fear and stress.
When Three's killswitch activates, the hunt becomes a race against time. In order to disarm the biological bomb in her mind, Pike's team must capture the runaways alive and combine their volatile psychic abilities for a dangerous subconscious breach that could kill them all.
In order for Eight and his brothers and sisters to save Three, they'll have to face the truth buried in the ashes of One.
The Seven Isaacs is an explosive sci-fi thriller about the morality and humanity of manufactured children.
