The hunt itself may be what kills them all... and their only hope for survival is buried deep inside the fractured mind of a little girl.
When Lt. Col. Nathan Pike and Squad Q, an elite unit of psychics and soldier-scientists, raid an illegal cloning facility on a forgotten Pacific island, seven genetically engineered children escape into the wild.
For the first time in their lives, the children are uncaged, and their manufactured abilities are rapidly evolving from telepathy into something far more dangerous. Unbeknownst to them, their new freedom carries a fatal complication.
Each child was designed with a failsafe: a biological explosive wired directly into their DNA, engineered to detonate under severe fear, stress, or trauma... with enough force to level the island.
As Squad Q tracks the runaways through the jungle, an accidental telepathic backlash from her own brother shuts down a young girl's brain, fracturing her psyche into a volatile new persona and arming the bomb inside her head. To stop the blast, Pike's team must capture all seven children alive and combine the kids' abilities with their own for a final, desperate breach into a mindscape of repressed trauma and ghost memories.
If Pike cannot defuse the threat before time runs out, his standing orders are absolute: Terminate on sight.
Fast-paced and relentlessly mind-bending, The Seven Isaacs is an explosive sci-fi thriller about the fine line between a bright future and cold scientific execution.
