Learning and sharing continue to be a fulfilling part of my life. I have taughtin elementary and high schools. As a professor of Communication in theUniversity System of New Hampshire, I had the opportunity of initiatinga program of international education for college students as well asinternational teacher exchanges. Through years of international service Ihad the privilege of meeting and working with children, parents, a numberof community leaders and educators in England, Italy, South Africa, NewZealand, Mexico, Nepal, Turkey, Switzerland as well as the United States. Theuniversal themes of Tara's Tales are the result of learning and sharing withpeople throughout the world.

I am a graphic designer/illustrator; I have an Associate's Degree in Art, fromthe Art Institute of Atlanta, Atlanta Georgia. I have been working as agraphic designer since 1983. My task with Tara's fables was to design a platformto visually pull you into Tara's thoughts and vision. I loved working withTara on this and many of her other fables, and would suggest you read allof her works.
