The intrepid crew of the Star Seeker have been pulled from the exploration of the frontier by the enigmatic Duke of Langlis. They have been given a new ship and a new mission: covert operations within the Osmani Empire - Arnog's homeland. Travelling among the ursoids won't be easy for the human crew. Disguised as the aslan freighter Tycho, they have to navigated the complicated world of the Osmani Dukes, Earls, Barons and their vassals and a system of complicated and intertwined loyalties. All is seldom what it appears on the surface. Their goal? To run a pirate enforced blockade of the planet Luthoria.
