Renata Ciuzausk-Markley is a Christian inspirational author, advocate for Christ, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness; laureate of numerous spoken-word competitions.

Born in Lithuania, a country that was part of the Soviet Union at a time and spent many years tormented by communism, socialism and atheism, the writer deeply appreciates the victorious spirit and beauty of her Motherland but has also embraced core ideas and values of America--the Sun of this world--a pinnacle of LIBERTY, a nation built on GOD.

Renata started writing poetry at the age of seven. With the help of her father who had access at work to a very rare tool at that time, copying machine, she had her first poetry book published still in high school. Her first English poem "Just Because of English" was among the winners at the poetry competition held by the British Council and later was entered into an international competition held by White Adder Press. Her poem "Beyond" was published in a book Our Great Modern Poets
