Notă biografică
David Block was raised in a small Louisiana town where every family knew one another, and every parent felt free to correct any child who strayed. Born to older parents, he survived a life-threatening surgery at age five and lost his father at twelve. Much of what he learned about manhood came from the school of hard knocks.David attended LSU and earned a business and computer degree from Louisiana College. His career took him to cities across the United States and eventually to the role of senior executive officer of a large holding company.David is a devoted Christian. He has been married to his wife, Linda, for sixty years, and he is a proud father and grandfather. After retiring, he wrote Becoming a Dad to give new and searching dads the guidance he missed growing up, drawn from more than seventy years of life.
