Recenzii
This is the first scholarly edition of what could be argued as Schoenbergs most important general work...A highlight of the book is Gordon Roots insightful commentary, a valuable resource of its own. the brevity and conciseness of the more compact publication aimed at novices is its very strength and joy for teachers.
The present volume is part of the ambitious "Schoenberg in Words" series, which aims to reissue some of Schoenberg's published works on music theory and also his correspondence ... This edition of Schoenberg's classic work will interest novice and expert alike.
