Onisim Sârb a dat nota:
Having read the book I can say it is quite interesting, albeit a little too mysterious... We are provided with too little information regarding the Visitors and all that they stand for... But what is bugging the eager and guilless reader is that the English translation may have brought over just too many language-specific terms and also impregnating the book with the American writing style. While this is, more or less, inevitable to some extent for all translated works, it unfortunately takes away from the original style and quality.
Descriere
New edition of this SF novel, from writers who began their collaboration in the 1950s.
Red Schuhart is a stalker, one of those strange misfits who are compelled by some unknown force to venture illegally into the Zone and, in spite of the extreme danger, collect the mysterious artefacts that the alien visitors left scattered around. His life is dominated by the Zone and the thriving black market in the alien products. Even the nature of his daughter has been determined by the Zone. And it is for her that Red makes his last, tragic foray into the hazardous and hostile depths
