Pentecostal Theology: Living the Full Gospel
Autor Professor Wolfgang Vondeyen Limba Engleză Hardback – 15 oct 2026
Pentecostalism is the most rapidly growing branch of Christianity since the 20th century. In this work, Vondey gives a powerful overview of Pentecostal Theology that is genuine to Pentecostals worldwide whilst allowing for different adaptations among the various Pentecostal groups.
The 2 new chapters add a new dimension to this work as they address a void between the doctrine of church and the doctrine of God. With an updated preface and expanded conclusion, this work is essential for any student looking to get a grasp of the Pentecostal movement.

Recenzii
Vondey's presentation of Pentecostal theology is a winsome, masterful account attuned to all the latest in Pentecostal scholarship. It is both innovative in its presentation of the whole of the Pentecostal full gospel narrative as centred around the altar, and yet broadly Pentecostal-and, at points, ecumenical-in its constructive appeal. It will gain a wide readership, and justly so. Indeed, it is the ideal book for an upper-level undergraduate or graduate course on Pentecostal theology.
This is a beautifully written literary masterpiece, presenting a visionary method and example for constructing Pentecostal systematic theology ... I strongly recommend this volume as requisite reading in Pentecostal theology. Its highly readable style makes it assessable for both academic and non-academic settings, such as for a church or ministry resource.
Wolfgang Vondey's Pentecostal Theology: Living the Full Gospel is a substantial publication that will no doubt become recognized as seminal .with this publication [Vondel] has made an indelible mark in the academy for academic Pentecostal theology.
Structured, developed with clarity and the desire to guide the reader ... A very important book, which certainly deserves a translation.
This book . . . places Vondey in the company of the leading Pentecostal theologians around the world. It deserves to be read widely, engaged with critically by scholars and students and it should inform future systematic theological endeavours.
Wolfgang Vondey's Pentecostal Theology is a creative, constructive, and far ranging contribution to the development of Pentecostal theology. Grounded in the Pentecostal experience of the full gospel, it provides both a fundamental Pentecostal theology and a Pentecostal perspective on major categories of systematic theology. The book marks a new phase of efforts to develop a comprehensive or systematic Pentecostal theology.
