The research study examines the relevant causal interrelations that exist between occupancy costs and their underlying factors. The objective is to determine the causes of significant differences which occur in the outlay for operating and repair measures of public schools located in Germany. Based on a definition of the significant control parameters, the study proceeds to present numerous distributions of cost indicators for evaluated building reference areas and factor levels examined.
