This volume aims to present the most pertinent phenomena emerging in syntactic and morphosyntactic research on Romance languages and varieties. These two fields will be discussed in the scope of 24 chapters from a general comparative perspective with a specific focus on smaller Romance languages and micro-variation in Romance varieties (especially regional dialects). The authors also give critical overviews of the latest research trends.
