Recenzii
Ivan Png’s Managerial Economics is unique and outstanding in presenting managerial economics in a concise but comprehensive manner along with relevant real-case examples. It is not only an essential, excellent textbook for students who are eager to study microeconomics at both introductory and advanced level but also an indispensable reference for instructors who teach managerial economics at all levels.
Youngho Chang, Associate Professor, Singapore University of Social Sciences
Ivan Png’s book has an engaging selection of international business case studies combined with fundamental microeconomics tools. Concepts are presented in an intuitive way, the exercises explore them in depth, and the supplementary materials provide a richer learning experience. Any student of business with an interest in economics should start from this book.
Isleide Zissimos, Senior Teaching Fellow, University of Warwick
I have been using Ivan Png’s Managerial Economics for 18 years in Hong Kong and Shanghai to teach MBA, EMBA, and other Master’s courses. The book emphasizes effective decision-making rather than mechanical calculations, with many examples drawn from across the Asia-Pacific region. This approach makes the book highly relevant, practical, and user-friendly. The latest edition keeps pace with the rapidly evolving business landscape and technological advancements, featuring contemporary examples such as large language models and artificial intelligence.
