With over two decades in academia, Daniel served on the Academic Board for 6 years-the apex governance body-of Hult International Business School, a triple-accredited institution. The board has championed the introduction of a Doctoral program and Executive Education initiatives. He has played a pivotal role in curriculum development and accreditation, contributing to accreditations from esteemed bodies such as QAA, EQUIS, NECHE, AMBA, and AACSB.

Beyond governance, Daniel's research endeavours span across North Africa, the US, and the UK, collaborating with esteemed institutions like MSB-Tunisia and Hult International Business School in the US/UK. This research has paved the way for transformative impacts in industries, benefitting corporate giants such as Tata Breweries, Unilever, Ford, and Coca-Cola. Notably, in 2023, Daniel presented a seminal paper at the Academy of Management (AOM) in Boston, shedding light on Social Innovation and its ramifications for emerging economies.
