This is Lexicon Book 2. This book is a companion book for the Main Guide for Certification. It will provide legal terminology in English and Spanish for participants in the certification program for translators and interpreters. As recipients of federal funding, most school systems have accepted their obligation to provide interpreter services to Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals and families in order to ensure meaningful access. This obligation, however, also extends to the need for schools to provide LEP individuals with translations of written documents as well.
