Feed Your Brain: EXISLE PUBLISHING
Autor Delia Mccabeen Limba Engleză Paperback – 10 aug 2027
Delia McCabe, who holds a master's in clinical psychology and a medical PhD in neuroscience, has spent more than twenty years translating that research into something anyone can use. At its heart is a simple, seven step plan built entirely around real food. In Feed Your Brain, McCabe explains which fats, unprocessed carbohydrates, clean proteins, vitamins and minerals the brain needs, and why: how the gut and brain are connected, and the surprisingly high nutritional cost of chronic stress. Each step builds on the last, with a five-point summary to help new habits stick, optional in-depth sections for readers who want the science, and a collection of quick, brain-nourishing recipes.
Whether your memory feels slippery, your focus and mood aren't what they used to be, your sleep is poor or stress has become a constant companion, Feed Your Brain offers a calm, practical, evidence-based path to thinking more clearly, feeling better and aging well -- for anyone who cares how their brain works, and how it ages.

Notă biografică
Delia McCabe holds a master's in clinical psychology and a medical PhD in neuroscience, completed through the School of Medicine at the University of Adelaide. Her multidisciplinary doctorate explored the connections between psychology, neurophysiology and nutrition, and she has spent more than twenty years investigating how what we eat shapes the way the brain develops, functions and ages.
A published researcher - including peer-reviewed systematic reviews on nutrition and stress - as well as an author, consultant and speaker, Delia shares her work globally, with a focus on achieving optimum brain health through lifestyle and behavioural science. She works with leaders and teams in organisations to harness and optimise cognitive potential, and is increasingly interested in how humans interact with technology. Born in South Africa and now based in Austin, Texas, she writes to make rigorous brain-and-nutrition science clear, practical and available to everyone.
