Recenzii
In 22 years of public education, I have never found a book that gives better anecdotal evidence of classroom management than this. You can immediately use the knowledge in this book! A must-read for all new teachers. We have adopted this book in our district as part of the induction program.
This book is a breath of fresh air. It's straight forward, practical, and not filled with someone's useless theories. I can find no fault with any of your observations or conclusions. Your work is certainly based on practical experience, a 'how to' taken from the real world of the classroom. Something like this is badly needed in today's schools.
Each semester I have Bill Miller speak with my Classroom Management and Effective Discipline Class. Bill's years of experience and proven methods for dealing with 'at risk' students are a valuable part of training each teacher should receive. I highly recommend Bill.
