Notă biografică
Thomas P. Hogan has a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Psychometrics from Fordham University. He has been at the University of Scranton since 1985, holding a range of positions. From 1985 - 1995, he was Dean of the Graduate School and Director of Research; from 1992 to 1999 he was Director of Assessment and Institutional Research and 2000 - 2001 is was Interim Provost/Academic Vice- President. He is also very active as a consultant with a number of school districts and organizations. He teaches courses in statistics, research methods, psychological testing and educational assessment. He has authored two textbooks, Psychological Testing: A Practical Introduction, 2nd edition (2007 - Wiley) and Educational Assessment: A Practical Introduction (2007 - Wiley). In addition, he has coauthored with Norcross and Koocher, A Clinician′s Guide to Evidence-Based Practices: Mental Health and the Addictions (2008 - Oxford). He has authored/co-authored over 150 refereed journals, and contributed many book chapters.
