This is a book for young children who have been in hospital. This can be a traumatic experience when they do not really understand what has been happening, or why. This book is intended to help very young children understand that they have been ill and that, although staying in hospital might not have been a very nice experience, it helped to make them better. The book also reinforces that they are better now, and can get back to normal. It is targeted at very young children (aged 2 to 4 years), with lots of pictures and few words. As with all books in the 'Your Story' series, there is a space for a picture of the child concerned on the last page.
