Notă biografică

Dr Roger White, from the University of Birmingham Field Archaeology Unit, is the archaeologist on the team that recently conducted a four-year study of Wroxeter and its hinterland. Philip Barker, previously Reader in Archaeology at the University of Birmingham, was, for 25 years, Director of Excavations of the baths basilica site, generally acknowledged as one of the most technically brilliant ever undertaken in Britain. He is also the author of the standard work Techniques of Archaeological Excavation.
