Words on High is a written inspiration that transcends the level of just another poetry book. Containing thirty-five poems in chronological order of creation, it will encourage readers spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. With Bible verses and concordance from three different versions: the New Living Translation (NLT), New International Version (NIV), and King James Version (KJV), Words on High also does what few other poetry books do, providing the inspired moments leading up to the works that are read. It is a journey through the eyes of the author, whose goal is to allow readers to be inspired, informed, and entertained by the emotion brought out in each and every poem.

Marc A. Beausejour was born July 28, 1987 in Queens, New York. Writing since the age of twelve, he first found his niche in poetry. Performing in school talent shows and poetry reading events, Beausejour moved to Kennesaw, Georgia in 2001; attending North Cobb High School, Chattahoochee Technical College, and Kennesaw State University. Over the years he continued to write poems for weddings, funerals and church-organized events. In 2011, Beausejour wrote and self-published his first book Words On High, a compilation of spiritual poems written throughout his early years. He would go on to write and publish a second poetry book Rising Higher Than Ever in 2015. In that same year, Beausejour also wrote and published his first urban novel The Preacher's Web, a hard, gritty morality tale that stood in contrast to his poetry books. In 2016, Beausejour wrote the coming-of-age novel Adia's Ballad. Not too long afterwards, Beausejour wrote Fires of Justice, which was published in 2018. Drawing inspiration from various boxing icons; from Muhammad Ali to Sugar Ray Leonard, Beausejour penned Split Decision and Split Decision 2: The Comeback in 2019 and 2020.
