Alfie Page has spent her life doing what other people tell her to do, and on paper, she's checked all the boxes. But the one thing she can't seem to get right? Dating. While all her friends are settling down, Alfie is stuck in the same loop of bad boyfriends who never seem to love her back. So naturally, when she and her downstairs neighbor Miles spend a night commiserating about their love lives and see a shooting star across the London skyline, she can't help but make a wish that someone will actually fall in love with her.
And some wishes really do come true.
The next morning, Alfie wakes up to find a charming stranger in her apartment, claiming to be from the shooting star department of the Wish Fulfillment Agency, there to grant her wish. His one job? To make anyone fall in love with her. But as the somehow magical Lucas helps Alfie navigate a love life full of possibility, all while her friendship with Miles begins to take a new shape, she'll start to realize that you should be careful for what you wish for...especially when it comes to love.
