Ned Buntline, Edward Zane Carroll Judson, was an American publisher, journalist and writer best known for his dime novels and the Colt Buntline Special commissioned from Colt's Manufacturing Company. He was acquainted with Buffalo Bill Cody, Wild Bill Kickok and others of the Old West traveling with and writing of their adventures.
