When Woodpeckers Dance is a collection of stories from several years of reflection on the author's experiences living in southern Ohio and northern Virginia. In each of these stories, the behavior of God's creatures is used to show His presence in every aspect of our lives, with the goal of reassuring and strengthening the reader's walk of faith.
