We Only Have the Summer

"Nobody writes angst and joy and hope like Paige Toon." --Christina Lauren

Maddie needs dance like her lungs need air. Or at least, she used to. Until Beau - her dance partner and first love - died in a tragic accident.

Blaming herself for his death, Maddie hopes that a summer spent in Beau's hometown of Revelstoke, high up in the Canadian Mountains will help her heal her heart and rekindle her passion for dance.

She doesn't expect Miles. Newly moved back to town to bond with the son he barely knows, Miles's struggle is one she can't turn away from. Because his son Kai loves dance, and Maddie might be the key to helping them connect.

Miles ignites a spark in Maddie she feared was gone. But she can't - won't - fall for him. Dancing is everything to her and Miles won't leave his son again - loving him would mean sacrificing her dreams.

Soon she is faced with an impossible choice. One that could ruin her all over again.
