In the wake of a disturbing discovery, seventeen-year-old Styx, accompanied by Townie, her guardian, sets off to make sense of her own heritage. Raised by a pair of ruthless assassins as the only living heir of the patriarch of a motley "family" of killers, Styx relies on her wit, strength, and skill to guide her to safety. Armed with information that people will kill for, Styx must locate her biological father and rewrite her own destiny before time for everyone she cares for runs out.
