Heaven's Gift There is an angel that soars at night; around buildings, and through window panes, is the path of his flight. The sound of a shudder is never near, because The Lord is forever here. He hides in escarpments, and floats over fields where cows gently graze; if all is calm, you can hear him whistling as he unceremoniously goes about each of his days. Guarding the Truth, protecting the meek, consume much of his time. Fortunately, he has no concern about the whereabouts of his next dime. He is kept safe within the cocoon God's love. There is no better way to live; once he thought he might have been a white dove, and that's why he's so accustomed to seeing things from high above.
