For three years, from 2011-2014, Christine Kinnie kept a blog chronicling her experiences through the Canadian family, criminal and social justice system as she separated and divorced from the man she had been married to for over a decade previously. Initially, the blog was her therapy; a way of sharing her trauma, triumphs, and the incredible outpouring of support she received from her community. However, after receiving encouragement from readers she decided to use the blog to create a book, in the hopes that her story could be a light to someone else's path.
