Recenzii
Hulse performs the necessary sleights of hand with great aplomb in this witty and innovative mystery
Vivian Dies Again is perfect for fans of Groundhog Day and Russian Doll. It's big, bold, beautifully bonkers, with heaps of heart and a family tree of killer characters. It's time to get ready for the smart, sassy crime caper of the year
I loved this book... The perfect blend of bathos and pathos with the most sympathetic unsympathetic character I've read in a very long time. Not to mention the fact that it's really clever, too
Sharp, funny and well observed, Vivian Dies Again made me properly laugh out loud. I absolutely loved it
Wickedly clever and properly funny - a time-loop whodunnit that truly kills
Hulse skilfully marries together a great hot mess protagonist, a complex murder mystery, and an abundance of laugh-out-loud moments. Vivian Dies Again is brilliantly clever, unique, and hilarious, and I loved every minute
Move over Fleabag, there's a new hot mess in town: C.E. Hulse's razor-sharp, witty and original Vivian. If you enjoy your time-loop thrillers dark, deadly and with plenty of bite, you won't want to miss this
Original, funny, and sharply observant of what it means to belong. Throw in a murder and it's got everything
Vivian Dies Again is absolutely fabulous. It's like a more relatable Fleabag, and I couldn't put it down. Witty, modern, surprising, and endlessly enjoyable, this twists in ways you really won't expect, and you'll tear through it one sitting. Pick this book up - you won't regret it
I snort laughed; I cackled with glee; I couldn't put it down. Caught up in the mystery alongside Viv and Jamie, we were old friends, solving Viv's murder together. Utterly propulsive
Fabulously funny and devilishly dark, Vivian Dies Again takes the classic murder mystery and drops it on its head - repeatedly... Compelling characters, clever twists and moving realisations abound. I fell head over heels for this hapless heroine
Fiendishly well plotted, insightfully observed and just downright hilarious - Vivian Dies Again is the most unique crime novel you will read all year. Hulse is an incredibly clever writer and this book is a real treat
A riotous time-glitch murder mystery with a very funny anti-heroine and lots of family secrets
C.E. Hulse at her very best... An exceptional timeloop murder mystery that explores themes of family, loyalty, responsibility and how to be a good person when it would be much easier to be bad - and it's also hilarious. I couldn't put it down
Delightful, clever, twisty and twisted. I'm sorry, Vivian, that you had to die 84 times, but I loved it
Different, quirky but also full of emotional depth, a brilliantly plotted murder mystery where the victim turns detective
A hugely entertaining, conceptually original murder mystery and family drama rolled into one... Darkly humorous and supremely well plotted
Vivian Dies Again is funny and twisty, and Viv is a wicked character... Tremendous
Hilariously quirky. Vivian Dies Again is a clever twist on the classic murder mystery... Witty and compelling
Imagine being a fly on the wall to "that friend's" chaotic antics and family drama - that's what it feels like to watch Viv solve her own murder. I miss her already
Spit-your-tea-out funny, original and an intriguing mystery to boot, if you're looking for fresh and quirky crime writing, look no further than Vivian Dies Again. It's pure delight from start to finish
