Unwrapping Me With Some Help from My Friends The questions & answers that helped me to discover self-love hidden beneath sickness, sadness, and self-loathing. How did I begin to discover self-love? Simply, through the enlightening answers that I received to my questions during meditation about why I was in so much pain. In spite of eating right, exercising, and utilizing supplements, reading self-help & spiritual books and so much more--I still wasn't happy. There was something deeper that was wrong, that I needed, that I craved. I looked everywhere and to everyone for help, but I didn't find it until I looked within myself. What I learned from the answers I received is that everything, from relationship issues to health problems and everything in between, stems from a lack of self-love. If we come from a place of love in everything we do--from how we treat ourselves to how we react to others--anything that we consider a "problem" no longer exists. It simply vanishes with our misconceptions and judgments. I heard this statement whispered to me one day during mediation and it seemed to sum everything up for me...
