A secondary, but important reason that this book has been written is to help those who have been sexually abused when they were children take steps along the road to their own recovery. This is mostly new information, not to be found in any other place. It is derived from knowledge that the author has amassed from dealing with survivors of sexual abuse who have been successful in banishing its hold over them. The author tells their stories in the hope that others will learn from what has worked for them.
