Wounded hearts, political schemes, steamy tension and perilous adventures. Underground Uprising is a gripping MM romantic adventure from the non-magical fantasy world of Anarchist Underground.
People are vanishing from the Borderlands.
The Niellans blame Dunwyn. Dunwyans claim Nielle is responsible. A centuries-old hatred between the two nations threatens to turn violent once again.
It's been eleven years since Bowie fled Anarchist Underground, defecting from Dunwyn's most infamous criminal gang. But his comfortable new life as the king's adoptive brother feels more like captivity. Even his most self-destructive habits no longer provide an escape from his terrible childhood memories.
After years of careful preparations, his family's tenuous plan to reunify Dunwyn and Nielle is in reach, until a mysterious enemy rears its head. With his loved ones in peril, Bowie trades his freedom to ensure their safety. Held hostage by a brutal, alluring secret society, he finds himself drawn to a fellow prisoner.
Kayan is everything Bowie isn't-charming, trusting, unguarded. Bowie yearns to open up to him in a way he never has with anyone else. But even once they escape together, growing closer on the run, he can't shake the feeling that Kayan is keeping dangerous secrets.
With his family missing and a deadly attack looming, the fate of nations rests on Bowie's shoulders. He begins to fear the only way to save his peaceful world is to embrace the dark talents he left behind in Anarchist Underground.
Underground Uprising is a stand-alone non-magical MM romantic fantasy adventure. Bowie Ryland escapes danger alongside an enemy he can't help being drawn to. Fighting to overcome his trust issues, he embarks on a treacherous journey, racing against time to outrun his captors, and save his home and family from destruction.
This book will appeal to fans of the non-magical fantasy and MM enemies-to-lovers tension in Captive Prince, the political intrigue in Game of Thrones and the snappy dialogue and banter in Quicksilver.
