This manuscript is an adaptation of the original Novel by Jonathan C. Jackson, Turnbull: based on a True Story. In this adaptation, all contemporary story line has been removed, focusing solely on the critical events as they happened. This story begins in turn of the century North Carolina and ends up in 1960s Nashville, Tennessee in a Civil Rights Trial of the Century that no one ever heard of. This is about an African American Doctor and his small practice in 1940s rural Tennessee and a certain patient that he's treated for years. One of them ends up dead and the other receives a 99 year prison sentence.
