Kim Little has been writing fiction for close to twenty years. Publishing it is a more recent development.Kim's stories move across time and place, but underneath they're all about the same thing: people finding their way to each other, and what it costs them. The places are real or closely drawn from real ones, and the emotional truth of them comes from somewhere you can't invent. Kim has lived and worked all around Australia and across Japan and North- East Asia, from the rural north to the big cities - a broad patchwork of experiences that inspire and inform the storytelling - not as subject, but as texture.Kim lives in South-East Queensland with their wife and two young children, and spends whatever time isn't claimed by family, work, or writing trying to keep a collection of Japanese garden plants alive in the Australian heat.
