Kris' everyday world revolves around bullying. After lashing out with a violent act, troubled Kris is given a chance to participate in an Alaskan wilderness trip with eleven other teenagers and two experienced leaders. Frustration and lack of trust quickly complicate Kris' journey. Along the way, Kris learns there is always more beneath the surface. Ultimately, a fight for survival creates a spectacular opportunity for Kris to discover his true capabilities.
