Recenzii
Dwyer (Arcadia Univ.) uses the techniques of cultural geography to provide a portrait of major Rust Belt cities. He draws on films from the 1970s to those made in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis to discuss the effects of deindustrialization and the ways that these cities reflect a larger landscape of despair, anxiety, insecurity, resignation, and apathy. ..Recommended.
