Recenzii
“Cause for celebration. . . . Carter’s achievement is a considerable gift to lovers of Proust, not only in the Anglophone world, but everywhere. . . . It is a delight to see this project brought to completion.”—David Bentley Hart, Leaves in the Wind (Substack)
“William C. Carter shows how Proust wanted his novel to be read as a whole and provides commentary crucial to our understanding. The end of a truly Herculean task!”—David R. Ellison, author of A Reader’s Guide to Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time”
“Professor Carter, just as he has done for the five previous volumes, has made Time Regained more accessible, more enjoyable, and easier to read for today’s audiences. His edition of Proust’s novel will be the definitive one for a long time.”—Pascal Ifri, Washington University in St. Louis
