Aimed at parents, parents-to-be and friends or family looking to make gifts, TILLY AND THE BUTTONS: MINI MAKES is the go-to resource for sewing for babies and children, written by mum of two Tilly Walnes.

Filling a gap in the market, it will include six stylish, cute and wearable projects plus variations that are quick to make and practical to wear. The majority of the projects will be unisex, since there are currently few patterns for boys on the mainstream market for boys, from ages newborn to 12 years. Many of them will be mini versions of popular adult styles from the Tilly and the Buttons range or previous books.

Each project will include three pattern hacks or embellishments, including adorable novelty details that are fun to both make and wear. Designed to grow with the child, the patterns include clever details such as turn-up cuffs, buttonhole elastic and drawstrings.

The book will include full scale patterns in the back, also available as PDF downloads with layered sizes to save printing ink. The instructions will be presented in Tilly and the Buttons’ user-friendly style, with helpful tips and gorgeous step-by-step photos.

Mi- a placut foarte mult acaeasta carte. Explicatiile din ea sunt de multa ajutor pentru un incepator, ilustratiile foarte bine facute, pozele arata in detaliu tot ce trebuie facut. Tiparele sunt bine facute si usorde inteles. Recomand aceasta carte tuturor incepatorilor si nu numai!

Tilly Walnes is on a mission to inspire more people to sew their own clothes. She is the founder of the award-winning sewing pattern company Tilly and the Buttons, known for its easy-to-follow instructions and gorgeous designs. Her previous books Love at First Stitch, Stretch! and Make it Simple have won industry awards and been published in multiple languages. Tilly has been writing about sewing on her popular blog since 2010, and appeared on the first series of the BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee. Mini Makes is Tilly's fourth book, and her first collection of childrenswear patterns.
