Greenland is a place like no other. It's a land of bright summer nights, long winters and breathtaking wildlife, where people have lived and thrived for thousands of years. The Land of the Midnight Sun is a beautifully illustrated nonfiction picture book offering a first look at Greenland's seasons, animals and Inuit traditions through beautifully lyrical text.
At a time when life in Greenland is changing, through climate shifts and growing outside interest, this book helps young readers understand why Greenland is so special, and why it matters today more than ever.
