J.R. Evans lives in Lubbock, Texas and has been writing stories since she was a young girl. She enjoys reading fantasy and adventure and has often found inspiration in books such as Peter Pan, Treasure Island, and looks up to authors such as Stephen King and C.S. Lewis. She has always enjoyed stretching the art of writing and pushing it beyond the typical genre of limitation.J.R. Evans is completing her bachelor's in political science and worked as a paralegal before making her way into the publishing industry. She has dabbled in all areas of writing including young adult, flash fiction, short stories, middle grade, and children's books.Her favorite hobbies include quotes, art, music, martial arts and attending the ballet.
