A readable and concise book on Therapeutic Community (TC). The author's style provides an experiential flavor while he attempts an easy to follow description and explanation of various aspects and methods of the TC. Although the book focuses on practical aspects it, nevertheless, offers the theoritical bases of some TC practices in the treatment of addiction. The book describes the current applications of the TC, and traces the origins of some of its practices.
