Notă biografică

Alison Borthwickhas over nineteen years' experience as a teacher, local authority adviser, Governor, Ofsted inspector and freelance consultant. She has also worked in ITT for several institutions supporting mathematics courses and has also been involved in several international projects for mathematics. Alison has researched and published material on children¿s calculations strategies and children¿s perceptions of, and attitudes towards, mathematics lessons.

Paul Ellisis Head of Teaching & Learning Strategy at Cambridge International Examinations. He is in charge of the worldwide recruitment and development of teacher-trainers, the general professional development of teachers, and the management of the educational content of our schools' conferences. He taught in the UK and France for 10 years, has Master's degrees in Modern Languages, Education and Business Administration, and has held senior positions in the provision of international education for the last decade.

Mark Winterbottomis University Senior Lecturer in Science Education at Cambridge University. He teaches on the Science/Biology secondary PGCE course (for which he also acts as Senior Examiner) and on the MEd course for science teachers and practitioners. He acts as supervisor on the MEd and MPhil courses. Mark coordinates leadership training for those trainee teachers who want to run the Duke of Edinburgh Award in school, and for those who want outdoor leadership qualifications. He is responsible for links between the Faculty and the Cambridge sixth form colleges.
