Like a dirt road, winding through the countryside, filled with potholes and rocks finally meets up with the highway, so Denette's "life after drugs" has met the "highway." It's been four long years in college after taking on the quest of a new beginning, barely escaping the devastation of addiction.
Here it is, clear sailing on the highway of success on the way to her new job with a newspaper crew as an investigative reporter.
